WILMINGTON, Delaware – October 27, 2020 – Effective immediately, Chopin Imports Limited (CIL), the marketing company for Chopin Vodka brand and other best-in-class spirits, will be responsible for the exclusive North American sales and marketing of Ron Carúpano the pioneering brand in Venezuelan’s premium rum industry.

The products available in the United States combines the Ron Añejo portfolio which includes Ron Carúpano 6, Ron Carúpano 12, Ron Carúpano 18, Ron Carúpano 21 and the Prestige Collection: Ron Carúpano Zafra, Ron Carúpano X.O. and Ron Carúpano Legendario, the only rum in Venezuela with inventory that includes 25-year-old single barrel rums. The portfolio will be available beginning in October 2020, for a suggested U.S. retail price ranging from $19.99 to $499.

Ron Carúpano will be available through RNDC and other distributors in 12 states including: California, Colorado, Florida, Washington, South Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan, Georgia, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Missouri.

Throughout the world, Ron Carúpano is synonymous with heritage and premium rum. To that fact, the brand was awarded “The Best Rum in the World” in 2014 at the International Congress of Madrid and has been producing rums for over 250 years. Their history started in 1762 when Spanish Captain Felix Del Fierro fell in love with the Macarapana Valley in Venezuela, where he founded the Hacienda Altamira and where Ron Carúpano was born.
