SAG Award-Worthy Cocktails

THIS YEAR’S SAG AWARDS ATTENDEES WILL BE ENJOYING COCKTAILS FEATURING CHOPIN IMPORT BRANDS SPIRITS

What will the stars be drinking at the Screen Actors Guild Awards this year? Libations inspired by their own work, of course. Chopin Import brands will be the official spirits featured at the 26th SAG Awards, which will be held on January 19. The brand has compiled a list of custom cocktails inspired by movies and shows nominated for this year’s SAG awards. Drinks with names like The Pom-shell, Schitt’s & Giggles, and Once Upon a Lime—a fitting dessert drink with an unexpected finish—will be served to attendees at the ceremony and the after-party.

If you’re planning on throwing a watching party of your own, and you want to drink what the stars are drinking, here are six cocktails that celebs will be sipping on (and will likely play a part in a maudlin acceptance speech or two). Cheers.

THE POM-SHELL

1 ½ oz. Chopin Potato Vodka
¼ oz. pomegranate juice
½ oz. lime juice
¼ oz. dry Curaçao

Combine ingredients in shaker. Shake. Strain into coupe glass. Garnish with edible pink rose.

WHISKY-A-JOJO

¾ oz. Benromach Whisky
¾ oz. Aperol
¾ oz. Nonino
¾ oz. lime juice

Combine ingredients in shaker. Shake. Strain into cordial glass. Garnish with cherries.

THE HITMAN

1½ oz. Red Door Gin
½ oz. ginger-jasmine syrup
¾ oz. lemon juice
club soda

Add gin, syrup, and juice to ice-filled Collins glass. Top with club soda and garnish sliced blood orange wheels.

SCHITT’S & GIGGLES

1½ oz. Terralta Tequila
½ oz. lime juice
½ oz. pamplemousse liqueur
club soda

Combine first three ingredients in shaker. Shake. Strain into ice-filled Collins glass. Top with club soda and garnish with lime leaf.

THE UPSIDE DOWN

1½ oz. Koch El Mezcal Espadin
¾ oz. lime juice
½ oz. orange flower simple syrup
¼ oz. dry Curaçao

Combine ingredients in shaker. Shake. Strain into ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with an edible pink flower.

 

ONCE UPON A LIME

1½ oz. Dorda Coconut Liqueur
¼ oz. Olorosso Sherry
¾ oz. pineapple juice
¼ oz. lime juice

Combine ingredients in shaker. Shake. Strain into ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with cherries.
